Since that time, John Malesovas has been lead counsel in jury trials or negotiated settlements of numerous cases resulting in millions of dollars in recoveries for his clients.

For the past 5 years, John Malesovas has focused a large part of his practice on representing small business owners and professionals who were induced to set up 419 and 412i plans as a purported means of saving for retirement on a tax advantaged basis. These individuals later learned that all of their money was used to purchase life insurance that paid significant commissions to the salesmen and that as a result, a substantial part of their investment was lost. And to add insult to injury, many of these individuals were audited by the IRS and the purported tax advantages of the investment were disallowed and substantial penalties were imposed by the IRS.
